ROOTS provides a series of preparation classes for the adoptive parents.  MAPP (Model Approach to Partnerships in Parenting) is a 10 week program that helps people who apply to become foster and adoptive parents prepare to meet the needs of children in ways they may have never thought of before, and prepare for the impact of adoption on their lives and lifestyle before a child joins their family.  MAPP is a group session with up to 20 people in a group.  MAPP is mandatory for all applicants.
