Our Mission is to decrease the over representation of African American children in Georgia’s foster care system by recruiting, preparing and supporting prospective adoptive parents who can appropriately meet the needs of children who have been abused, abandoned and neglected.
Over the years,

was awarded a grant from the Dave Thomas Foundation on Adoption, to operate its signature program, Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program, in metropolitan Atlanta.
All of ROOTS services are provided to prospective parents regardless of race, age, sex, marital status, physical disability, gender identity, sexual orientation or income.
